Why Mexico City?

There is a spiritual need in Mexico City. Despite its rich cultural and religious heritage, individuals and communities search for purpose in life and are hungry for spiritual meaning. They need to be introduced to the transformative power of the Gospel.

The Church is Not A Museum

As Mexico has moved into the twenty-first century, its inhabitants have adopted a complex tapestry of idolatry, pagan ceremonies, and animistic practices intertwined with the fabric of traditional national religions. We were surprised to see so many old churches functioning as museums when we visited the city.

At the same time, the younger generation, unfamiliar with Jesus's living presence, opts for secularism and adopting elements of pagan spirituality. The rapid growth of business has also led to the spread of secular values and consumerist attitudes. Young people follow a secular lifestyle focusing on immediate gratification and personal desires, stopping them from seeking spiritual fulfillment.

There is Hope

Local believers and dedicated pastors in Mexico are displaying a sincere hunger for additional leadership training. Their eagerness and commitment to growing in their faith and expanding their knowledge are evident. This enthusiasm underscores the pressing need for resources, mentorship, and educational opportunities to empower these individuals to become even more effective leaders within their communities and churches.

It is imperative that we respond to their yearning for growth by providing them with the necessary tools and guidance to nurture their leadership potential and deepen their spiritual impact.

You don’t measure yourself by your success. You measure yourself against the unfinished task.”
